Grandview Stack

Architect-led DesignBuild + Developer

Custom Multi-Family Residential
San Francisco, California

A sleek new, ground-up residential project that feels like two single-family homes, with one at street level, and one perched at the top of the deep upslope lot.

Innovative modern design and site use distinguish the design of this urban in-fill project. The two homes are completely independent of each other, with the larger four-story home at street level and the three-story unit atop the hillside behind—separated by a mid-lot garden and open space. This ‘stacked’ proximity enables the units to share the site’s uncompromising views of San Francisco and the Bay and its green-space.

Common design elements include floor-to-ceiling windows, glass balcony railings and a high level of interior finishes. The design for GrandView Stack was sold with full entitlements to a private party prior to starting construction; Zack | de Vito is in contract to build the project.
